I am Grateful For...
"It is one thing to be grateful. It is another to give thanks. Gratitude is what you feel. Thanksgiving is what you do" - Tim Keller.
I usually send out my “4 Things in the Life…” dispatch about this time during the week, but today, just a feel-good round of the thankful game!
I am grateful…
For the snuggles of my doggies. Ok, not all the time. Sometimes they just bug me. 😉
For the wonderful relationship I share with each of my kids.
For warm and sunny fall days. There are fewer of them left, but I will treasure them, nevertheless.
For the privilege of choosing… whom I listen to, what I believe, and how I spend my days.
For the wonder of marriage, which has been unfettered love, laughter, and support in my life for 44 years.
For lifelong friends. I cherish all my friends, but I am truly astonished by the grit, mercy, and endurance of lifelong friendships.
For the example of mercy given to me by my father.
For the inspiration and vision of serving others from my father-in-law.
For the gift of travel… I have traveled enough for several lifetimes. Fun fact: I have landed in 60 airports and will add a few more soon.
For the honor of teaching from the Bible every week and sharing Jesus’ love with others.
For enriching relationships from all over the world.
For the beautiful people of Immanuel Church, with whom I get to walk faith’s journey.
For great books, fine wine, good food, affectionate embraces, and familiar laughter.
For finding a new GP who has felt an awful lot like grace to me. My body and I are both feeling quite hopeful!
I just wanted to share a little goodness! What about you? What are you grateful for today? Drop a few in the comments. It’ll make you feel better.

I’m grateful for the sound of your slippers dragging around in the morning because it means we are both alive and awake for another beautiful day! 😌😌😌😌
I deeply thankful for you and the family we have together❤️
I’m thankful for sunshine the last couple of days to walk in.
I’m thankful for the ability to move about physically.
