I said that I no longer attend a church, but that is only true in a traditional sense. We have been meeting with friends in our home for our Sunday worship, mostly because we do not have a church locally that fits for us. I'm also not sure that any of the other responses adequately represent my preference - I tend to over complicate things - but if I summarized what I would love to be a part of, it would be a church emphasizing genuine Christ-centered discipleship (which would include elements of culture and missional presence).

Darrell, as you know, what you describe is very much a church in my book. It almost sounds like you took a very cool Missional Church in your past at some point. :)

All these are important. I assume most churches are going to be pretty friendly. And there are lots of non profits to partner with for missional presence. I picked programs which sounds old school but people need entry points. Like small groups and kids programs.

Being doctrinally correct would supersede all other criteria for me.

Thanks, Steve! And I completely agree with your choice! What is that line: "Culture eats strategy for breakfast."

I chose church programs because I didn't see my first choice which would be Christ centered plus Kingdom work.

Yeah, I was going to add more choices, but it wouldn't let me. At least in my mind, I think what you describe is the Missional one. Thanks for dropping by.

Thanks for commenting. Again, I am aware of the limitations of the survey, but hopefully, it was helpful in some way. It was to me.
